after a big day

we got back from Tsukuba around 11:00pm sunday night. it was a disaster in result-wise but was a good for racing.my xr1000 stands alone on zero shop floor, soundless.

working environment

zero engineering's shop. work on my xr1000, chat with zero guys, work on my xr1000, take a good look at some of zero's custom bikes, work on my xr1000, eat treats that were given by some of zero's customers, workk on my xr1000...

metal gasket

after taking out heads, cylinders and pistons, only the problem i found was a broken base gasket. i bought a sheet of alminum from a hardware shop and made the gasket for the first time. it looks okay. i hope it works okay too.

hello 2012

2012 had started, already 4 weeks into it. i rode my xr a couple of times before i took it to zero engineering for check and small modification. taking parts at zero's warehouse, cold and dark. i'll have the motor down by next week. so far, i haven't find anything major by the look of the front bank cylinder... broken base gascket and slight excess of carbon on front top of the piston head.

i hope 2012 would be the better one for me and for my country.
